Dell Tablet PC – Latitude XT3 Convertible

Dell Tablet PC

Need the functionality of a laptop but love the ergonomics and portability of a tablet?  Dell’s new Latitude XT3 convertible may be just what the doctor ordered.  The massive 13 inch screen actually rotates and folds back on itself converting this fairly powerful laptop into a tablet that outspecs most of its competition.

The dual core Sandy Bridge processor runs on a 2.5GHz Core i5-2420M CPU which makes battery life a bit of an issue but gives you the full-featured performance that most tablets can’t.  There’s only 2GB of RAM under the hood though, which somewhat limits just how hard you can make this thing work.
The screen has undergone a bit of an upgrade since this model was announced.  The touchscreen can recognize input from up to three fingers simultaneously but Dell was nice enough to include a stylus for those who like to be a bit more precise.
The magnesium frame makes this a bit of a beast.  It’s light but exceptionally strong, making it an excellent portable work station for all but the most rigorous outdoor environments.  And that bright little screen won’t get washed out in the harsh sunlight either.
There’s no official release date yet but promotional models are already circulating, so you know it won’t be long.  I’d expect a pretty hefty price tag on the XT3 convertible, given all that it can do and the power it packs underneath the hood.
Hit up the official Dell blog for more on the new Latitude lineup.

Toshiba is amongst those laptop making companies that keeps in mind the general demands of an average laptop user. Their upcoming model, NB520, is surely the result of such forward thinking which will result in amazing sound quality from this laptop if you happen to buy the same.
We rarely find ourselves trying to hear loud music from our laptops as we don’t expect our laptops to come up with amazing sound experiences. Somehow, the times might just be changing with Toshiba NB520 round the corner.
Harman Kardon speakers will power the NB520 for those who love cracking music and NB500 will serve the purpose for those consumers who love to live life peacefully. Prices haven’t been announced yet but we are expecting something unexpected due to the “loud” feature.

Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio T750 laptop changes colours

The Toshiba Dynabook has a monochromatic top which changes colours when you look at it. The colour of the laptop’s top changes when you turn it, move it no matter the angle you look at it. Most laptops on the market today are in a couple standard colors, but Toshiba wanted to add some colour to the Dynabook Qosmio. The added colour to the top of the laptop changes nothing about performance, it’s all for the looks and style. The top that changes colours and shimmers in the light is not paint, it’s multiple film layers overlapping creating the colorful effect when you move it.
The Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio has decent hardware inside too, in it includes a 2.66GHz processor using Intel Core i5-480M, 4GB of DDR3 memory RAM, and a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 display that is LED backlit.
